WR-PRI Orange County is an internationally recognized research organization with expertise in pharmacological and multidisciplinary research. Our staff is experienced in the fields of psychiatry, cardiology, rheumatology, family practice, neurology, ophthalmology, gerontology, pharmacoeconomics and quality of life measures. A consultation at PRI gives you options, there is no cost to you and no insurance is required. Our goal is to provide a skillful personal evaluation resulting in professional recommendations; then, it’s up to you! You may decide that one of PRI’s research studies is a good opportunity for you to obtain confidential and no cost assistance.

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Your local NAMI Affiliates and volunteer leaders work in communities across the country to raise awareness and provide essential and free education, advocacy, and support group programs.

NAMI Orange County conducts free educational programs, meetings and support groups, addressing every aspect of mental health. We provide no-cost programs, virtual events, educational meetings, support groups and advocacy for families and individuals dealing with the effects of mental illness.

NAMI Orange County is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization with a membership of over 400 and is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and NAMI California.

MHA is a powerful voice for healthy communities throughout the nation and offers information, referrals, and resources for individuals living with any type of mental illness. One of MHA’s services includes online screening, which is one of the quickest and easiest ways to determine whether you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition. Mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety, are real, common and treatable. And recovery is possible.

MHALA serves adults and transition age youth who are dealing with mental health needs and do not have financial resources, including Veterans and people who are homeless.

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) changes lives, saves lives and impacts lives, through education, peer support groups and advocacy for those diagnosed with a mental health illnesses and empowers their family and friends to embrace their independence, advocate for improved services, and to love them for who they are.

DBSA Orange County is an affiliate of the National DBSA. Our aim is to help persons suffering from mood disorders (bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and depression) living in or around the Orange County region.

In keeping with the principles engendered by our parent organization, our support groups seek to:

  • Give you the opportunity to reach out to others and benefit from the experience of those who have “been there”.
  • Motivate you to follow your treatment plan.
  • Help you to understand that a mood disorder does not define who you are
  • Help you rediscover the strengths and humor you may have thought you lost
  • Provide a forum for mutual acceptance, understanding, and self discovery outside of a hospital environment.
