DBSA South Florida is a local chapter of the national organization Depression and Bipolar support alliance. We are a group of individuals, just like you, who came together in search of support for ourselves and want to share what we have found with others. We provide peer support groups for people who deal with mood disorders. Our support groups are free and confidential. We primarily support individuals living with depression or bipolar disorder. We also provide free and confidential support for their families and friends.
We are peers – individuals just like you – who have come together in search for support, someone to speak with and share solutions with that work for us. All our support group meetings are free of charge, confidential, and supportive. We hold meetings in Broward, Miami Dade, and Palm Beach and Pinellas counties. You need not preregister. All you need to do is show up and participate! That’s it. That simple. Again we stress – our meetings are confidential. What is said, stays.
