Your local NAMI Affiliates and volunteer leaders work in communities across the country to raise awareness and provide essential and free education, advocacy, and support group programs.

NAMI Sonoma County is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals affected by mental illness, and their families, by providing mental health education, support and advocacy. NAMI Sonoma County collaborates with community partners to raise awareness and understanding of the challenges of living with mental illness, to dispel the stigma that keeps many from seeking help, and the hope of recovery through treatment and support.

MHA is a powerful voice for healthy communities throughout the nation and offers information, referrals, and resources for individuals living with any type of mental illness. One of MHA’s services includes online screening, which is one of the quickest and easiest ways to determine whether you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition. Mental health conditions, such as depression or anxiety, are real, common and treatable. And recovery is possible.

The Mental Health Association of Alameda County (MHAAC) has been serving people with mental illness and their families throughout Alameda County since 1958. MHAAC is an independent local affiliate of the Mental Health Association in California, which is based in Sacramento, and Mental Health America with offices in Alexandria, Virginia.
